The Opportunity
This a unique opportunity for an Experienced Legal Funds Counsel to join a top ranked provider of fund administration services. The role offers a broad range of diversified assignments and responsibilities with career development perspectives in a group in expansion.
The Responsibilities
• To advise and act as legal counsel on funds structures
• To draft investment funds offering documentation on SIF, SICAR and Securitisation structures
• To be responsible for drafting agreements on all related funds
• To coordinate all legal tasks with regard to the PSF
• To be responsible for Compliance and AML procedures and liaise with the CSSF
• To act as the 'Knowledge Manager' with regard to gathering information on updated to the law (AIFM etc) and keeping clients and peers informed
• To prepare Newsletters on relevant legal topics
• To draft Terms and Conditions for EMTNs and issuance of shares and units on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange
• To act as coordinator with both clients and prospects
The Competencies
• University degree in Law (Bac +5)
• 5 to 8 years of as Legal fund counsel in a similar position in the fund industry in Luxembourg
• Willingness to work in a high quality client service focus environment
• Strong analytical skills, needs to be highly organised in order to meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills and self-motivated, able to work autonomously
• French native speaker and excellent command of English mandatory
• Wider legal experience in other business area is welcomed.
