The Responsibilities
You will be the right hand of the Consolidation Manager assisting in:
•All consolidation related matters (intercompany reconciliations, equity reconciliations, posting of journal entries)
•Monthly upload of reporting packages into the accounting software
•Preparation of monthly and quarterly consolidated accounts under IFRS
•Preparation of Group’s annual report, including all relevant disclosures, in accordance with IFRS
•Preparation of quarterly press releases
•Production analysis to assist in tax planning, treasury management and financial cost control
•The audit process
•Updating of the Group accounting manual
•Other ad hoc group matters
The Competencies
•You have 4 years experience in big 4 with exposure to consolidation and IFRS
•You hold an accountancy qualifications (ACCA, ICAS or equivalent)
•You are fluent in English
•You are career orientated, willing to learn and you quickly gain responsibilities
•You are committed and proactive team player, flexible, focused on objectives
•You have strong analytical and communication skills (both verbal and written)
•You have a strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word)
•You have a first experience using SAP and Hyperion knowledge would be an advantage
