I am actively recruiting for a high-quality, high-profile, and technically skilled Banking & Finance Team situated within a prominent Law Firm here in Luxembourg. This multi-site, international Law Firm has a mid-level requirement in their Luxembourg Finance team due to ongoing client demands, and are keen to secure a profile which can give high quality services to clients immediately, while also grow in the structure for the long-term success of the firm.
The Opportunity:
Over and above working on market-leading transactions (both an international and local focus) in a firm that prides itself on being at the forefront of industry developments, you can also obtain the chance to:
● work in an open, transparent and professional/commercial environment – thus benefit from clear lines of communication
● be rewarded in a manner which is structured around individual merit, quality output and focussed investment in the development of legal professionals – which will allow you to grow inline with your own expectations with the support of the firm
● obtain the guidance of hands-on Partners who are highly regarded across the industry – who can give clear instructions and manage your expectations and make your daily work manageable
Importantly, the culture within the unit is one of excellence and team work, and the feeling is strong between colleagues to work hard and provide great results for clients in an efficient manner. Also, there is a real feeling of responsibility provided at an early stage of development, and therefore the chance for you to grow your career skills quickly shall occur.
The Responsibility:
Due to the successful and structured increase within this Team, the requirement to strengthen the unit at a mid-level will result in a daily focus for you centred upon:
● intra-firm liaison on larger matters with a banking or loan element – allowing clients to be fully serviced in a rewarding manner
● technical and wide-ranging banking and finance transactions – providing variety in your day and the opportunity to learn new skills
● liaising with leading institutions and colleagues across the other jurisdictions autonomously – building your commercial understanding and international network
The Requirement:
As a result of the unique opportunity available and the daily duties surrounding interesting and varied workloads, you will need to have:
● a real desire to take responsibility within the workplace and benefit from an autonomous environment
● an enviable and directed educational background which allows you to work on matters with a robust academic/legal understanding
● have a curious, ambitious, and self-motivated personality that can adapt well to differing demands
● solid legal Banking & Finance exposure borne from a Law Firm which will allow you to become an effective team member quickly
● strong linguistic abilities (including English and French) to allow you to interact with clients and colleagues effectively
Overall, this opportunity will add a substantial and credible technical knowledge to your career, while offer you the chance to work with some of the leading Partners in the Luxembourg market – so for more information contact Fraser Turnbull as soon as possible......CONFIDENTIALITY ASSURED.
