The Responsibility:
Due to the successful and structured increase in work within this Team, the requirement to strengthen the unit at a mid-level will result in a daily focus upon:
● liaising with leading institutions and other lawyers in a front-line capacity – thus building your commercial understanding and personal network
● working on technical and wide-ranging banking and finance transactions from across the world – providing variety and intellectual challenges within your working day
● developing the knowledge of the less experienced staff, while supporting the Partners output – which develops your commercial expertise for your future career
The Requirement:
In order for you to gain this role - and as a direct result of the opportunity available and the daily duties surrounding the interesting and varied workloads - you will need to have:
● a curious, ambitious, and self-motivated personality that can adapt well to differing client demands
● a real desire to take real responsibility within the workplace, and a personality which will flourish when set in an autonomous environment
● solid legal Banking & Finance / Corporate Finance exposure borne from a Law Firm which will allow you to become an effective team member quickly (c.2 to c.5 years pqe ideally)
● an enviable and directed educational background (ideally surrounding financial matters) which allows you to quickly analyse complex technical issues from a theoretical standing – thus adding weight to you strong practical skills
