The Opportunity
You will have the unique opportunity to join the holding of a worldwide and prestigious group and be responsible for insourcing the accounting activities from an external service provider.
You will be one of the pioneers for the growth of this company in Luxembourg which is currently composed of one person.

The Responsibilities
- Responsible for timely and accurate maintenance of general ledgers including preparing and booking of journal entries for 7 companies
- Prepare on time monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, including standalone and IFRS reporting package to Head office
- Coordinate with External Auditors
- Prepare payment instruction and perform daily treasury position reconciliation
- With the support of internal and external advisors in charge of tax compliance and prepare monthly and annual VAT returns (including UK ones)
- Prepare budget, revision and ad hoc financial analysis
- Involved in financial operations of additional entities including a Real Estate Investment fund
The Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting. CPA is a plus
- 3-5 years experience in all aspects of accounting (e.g from Big4, Fiduciaries, Real Estate companies...)
- Very good IFRS knowledge
- Ability to deal with foreign currency issues
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Highly organized
- Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in French and English
- Analytical, numerate and accurate with good attention to details
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and experience working with ERP systems (SAP)
- Some travelling
