About our client
Our client, a prominent International bank, is looking for a German speaking senior trust officer to join their Luxembourg office.
Job description
As a Senior Trust Officer, your main responsibilities will be :
- Being the point of contact for legal issues and act as a coordinator of legal matters with third party service providers (lawyers, consultants, clients etc.)
- Ensuring administrative follow-up of corporate transactions, in co-operation with internal and external advisors,
- Promoting compliance and good corporate governance as a Board Member of Luxemburg based companies
- Tracking and tracing documents (legalisation, apostille, review, signature verification, etc.)
- Dealing with the day-to-day administration of the Luxembourg companies, in compliance with statutory, legal and tax requirements (including statutory filings, tax filings, publications and fulfillment of formalities)
- Supporting the Executives on corporate legal issues
- Following up legal and other company records and documentation and keeping legal files up to date
- Organizing and preparing agendas for board meetings and annual general meetings (AGMs)
Who we are looking for
You hold a University Degree preferably in Economics/Law or Finance
You have at least 4 years of experience preferably gained within the financial sector;
You have a solid legal, compliance, risk, tax and company secretarial background;
You are proactive, rigorous and team-oriented;
You have proven ability to multitask and prioritize workload to meet deadlines;
You are fluent in German, English; any other language would be considered as an asset.
