The company offers diverse products and solutions for industries and consumers worldwide. With more than 250 staff in Luxembourg this is one of the bigger branches of the company in Europe. In order to expand their team they are looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Day to day accounting for different companies
- Preparation, recording and reviewing the accruals, provisions, bank statements
- Preparation of ad-hoc reports and reconciliations, the monthly and quarterly reconciliations
- Involving in the year-end closing, reporting and audit process
- Collaboration with external auditors
- Preparation of the annual reporting packages
- Preparation of German VAT returns
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor degree in accounting or finance
- Knowledge of German GAAP
- Fluent in English, German will be an asset
- 2-3 year’s relevant professional experience
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Knowledge of accounting software
