International company that is active in the financial fields of investor services, research, trading and investment Management. With more than 750 staff in Luxembourg this is one of the bigger branches of the company in Europe. They have a worldwide coverage for above mentioned services and are one of the top companies in the field. To expand their knowledge they are looking for a Basel II Specialist with external reporting background.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Coordinating and supporting complex projects throughout their life-cycle, in the scope of Basel II, including all pillars
- Implementation of ICAAP in compliance with the group directives and all related forecasting
- Act as a reference point within the bank in all matters regarding Basel II, ICAAP
- Participation at the relevant Basel II, local and Home Host committee meetings
- Analysing the impact of new business products
- Documenting Risk outstanding policies, processes and procedures
- Performing other ad-hoc general accounting tasks as assigned
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor degree in accounting or finance
- 5 years plus experience in General Accounting/Banking
- Experiences with Basel II
- Regulatory reporting experience
- Knowledge of IFRS and/or US Gaap
- Knowledge of the financial industry and funds in particular will be considered an asset
- Strong Analysing skills
- Identify and understand risk drivers
- Project management experience
- English
- French/German would be considered a plus
- Hands on
