Our client is a prestigious family office with the group holding based in Luxembourg. The company is based on three core areas: world wines, properties & hospitality, and contemporary art.
As Group Financial Controller/Finance Director, you will manage the financial controllers of the various daughter companies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Financial Planning & Management (Budgeting processes)
- Treasury
- Capital & Tax Planning
- Statutory and Management Reports
- Group consolidation
- Managing the accounting department
- Running annual audits
- Implementing internal accounting standards
- Implementing an MIS program
- Managing daughter company controllers
Who we are looking for
- You are preferably a qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CPA etc) with a strong record of success in a senior finance management position of a multinational group or a Senior Manager/Director level in a Big4 (specialization Private Equity).
- Experience in the wine industry would be an advantage.
- You are fluent in English and German. Spanish and French would be considered as an asset
- You hold a degree in Finance or a related subject
- You have a good command of IFRS
- You have strong IT capabilities
- You have a conservative and precise character and can work independently
