Our client is specialized in marine engineering, focused on drilling or hammering of large diameter piles. The company has a global presence and solid history. Our client is looking for a candidate wishing to work in flexible and international team in Luxembourg. Due to the recent growth the client is looking for a Technical Purchaser to reinforce their team.
The Role
Based in Luxembourg, you are responsible for doing the all purchase (technical and otherwise) concerning your counterparts as well as certain other purchases that fall within your area of expertise.
You maintain contacts with the suppliers and negotiate with them.
You place orders and follow up on the delivery and administrative side of purchases, with the help of the assistant buyer.
Your Profile
You are trained as an Industrial Engineer or have equivalence experience
Maintenance skills
5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role (technical buying machine parts or possibly sales)
Able to work independently
Can do attitude
Fluent English is a must, any other language is a plus (especially Dutch)
