Job description
As a portfolio accountant you will join a small team of specialists and be in charge of a portfolio of clients. Your role will entail:
- The accounting for Luxembourg based entities in investment structures (some of which own real estate properties)
- The preparation of the accounts of Luxembourg based entities for quarterly investor reporting purposes (with outside service providers) and participation in accounting of local asset owning companies where applicable
- The accounting of whole intra-group finance activity
- The preparation of wire transfers for payments from bank for various entities in the structure (including entities in jurisdictions other than Luxembourg)
- The preparation of local statutory accounts, as well as tax returns, for local statutory filing requirements for Luxembourg based entities
- Participating in preparation of the budgets, cash flows and investor reporting and fulfillment of responsibilities allocated to the employee by his/her supervisor
Who we are looking for
- You are fluent in English (in both writing and spoken)
- You have an Accounting and Finance experience of 2-5 years; audit company background is an advantage
- You have a good understanding of the funds environment (custody, transfer agent, etc.)
- You have strong analytical skills
- You have very good interpersonal skills
- You are able to work in an international environment and in a team
- You take ownership of the jobs assigned to you
