About our client

Our client is multinational industrial company, leader in their area. They are currently looking for a high level analyst to strengthen their accounting team.

Job description

As the A/R and Treasury Analyst you will be the key person managing all the cash flows of the company. You will report directly to the chief accountant, and have to liaise with the credit manager, the financial controller and the Group headquarters.

Your role will entail:
Treasury management
- Daily follow up of treasury through the recording of all transit cash flows and bank statements
- Prepare all the supplier payments and other financial disbursements
- Administrate the different cash pools according to the procedures in place
- Reconcile daily and monthly treasury positions before closure
- Ensure follow up of intercompany loans according to rules in place
- Prepare analysis, studies and financial advice to the plant controller

Accounts receivable
- Keep the books for receivables according to Lux GAAP and group policies
- Review the client portfolio, to be able to appropriately analyze aged debtor balances and chase/follow up customers with the help of the credit manager and the financial director
- Record the operations with other clients (intercompany receivables, re-invoicing, etc.)
- Deal with the commission notes and client rebates with the authorization of the commercial controller
- ensure the correct interface of client claims from the sales system to the accounting system

Other administrative aspects
- Book the expenses
- Help with the bookkeeping of other areas of the accounting department
- Give / ask the information related to demands given through phone
- Participate in classifying the invoices

Who we are looking for

- You graduated in Accounting/Finance - Masters preferred
- You have around 6 years experience in the accounting/finance area
- You have a good understanding of industrial practices and a good knowledge of legal/tax framework and accounting & finance principles
- You are fluent in English and French. German is an asset
- You possess good IT skills (ERP, AS400 and office pack)
- You are team oriented with excellent relationship and communication skills
- You strive for excellence and performance and are proactive and pragmatic
- You have strong analytical and problem solving skills
- You are well organized and stress resistant
