Our client is a well known international group active in the financial services sector. They are currently looking to recruit their Head of Information Technology based in Luxembourg.
Main responsibilities:
As the Head of IT, you will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will manage all IT activities within various countries. More precisely, your main responsibilities will be:
- Supervising a department of 40 people of whom 7 direct reports;
- Acting as the interface between different IT Departments and Management;
- Managing the day-to-day IT operations;
- Leading troubleshooting processes;
- Providing a high quality service level to internal clients;
- Building & maintaining relationships with Vendors, Users and Developers.
Profile:
- University degree in IT or equivalent;
- Minimum 5 years experience in an IT leading position;
- Fluency in English (written and spoken), other language(s) are an asset;
- Excellent communication skills with experience in managing a large team;
- High level of experience of banking workflows and processes;
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to understand complex matters and put them into context;
- Showing positive, highly motivated and pro-active team playing spirit with the ability to make things happen;
- Detailed technical knowledge of network architecture and banking related systems.
