Our client is a leading provider in software solutions for a very specific business area and is active on a worldwide basis. The company is really technical driven and their solutions bring added values services to the end to end institutional users.
Our client is currently looking for a Network System Engineer who will join the existing team.

The Mission
 The System Engineer will have to support all existing equipment in the network environment, manage new network projects and provide technical documentation and procedures.
 He/she will contribute with his business experience helping the team on the prioritization of the support tasks and in building a historical knowledge based on problem resolution. All problems will have to be correctly logged and analyzed in order to ensure that corrective actions are taken.
 Concerning new project, he/she will be the technical exert and project leader in the network area like Wan, Man, Lan, Security Management and IP Telephony implementation and design.
 The main objectives of the role are to work according to the IT department standards in quality assurance, project management and methodologies, provide training and efficient support, support existing systems, ensure primary objectives like high availability and good response time of the network and telephony infrastructure, follow up all equipment network and telephony oriented, log all useful information, participate in the development of computerized tools, procedures, documentations and studies…

The Profile
 The candidate should have an experience on network management, protocols, routing, security and IP telephony environment, good skills on UNIX, HTTP, and Java is an asset.
 He/she will be service and customer oriented with good communication skills (good ability to work with internal users and IT colleagues).
 The profile will travel to provide service and support in other locations of the company and is able to work in a very multicultural environment.
 Fluent in English (verbal and written communication skills) is mandatory, good level of French might be an asset.
